This will show you how much I really pay attention to comics.

I was convinced that Deadpool had his own comic for some reason, like Superman, so imagine my surprise when I was reading about the new Wolverine movie in Entertainment Weekly and saw the picture of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool! I was like, that's foresthouse's guy! I had no idea he was an X-Men...X-Man...thing. ::cue the "The more you know" music::

You're not really far off, actually. :) He *does* have his own comic, and he's not really an X-Man - in fact, there are numerous jokes in the comics where he's all, "I'm one of you!" and they're all, "No you're not!"

The reason FOX can get their hands on him, sadly, is that his healing factor is the result of Weapon X experiments that gave him Wolverine's healing factor. So he's a mutate, not a mutant.

I wish this meant FOX couldn't touch him, so Marvel Studios could do an awesome DP movie. Sadly...non. Heh.
