I haven't; I'm waiting for the theater release - but I'm well aware that not all of the movie is that faithful to the character (I've already ranted about that). At this point, I'm reserving further major judgments until after I watch the movie. :)

Well, it's more that I've now lowered my expectations so much that I'm pretty certain to be at least ok with it. I mean, aside from Deadpool and Gambit's origins being totally whacked, it doesn't look too awful, and I've become sort of zen about the messed-up Deadpool issue, after several rants to blow off steam. Hah.

I guess for me I was like It sucks that their origins were changed, but almost every character in the first three movies had their origins changed. They seem to get the tone of the character and that for me is all I really wanted.

Plus its especially apparent that they seem to nail that in all the spots:

The Wade one in comparison is...very Wade.

Yeah, RR as Wade gives me hope. I still am annoyed about the unnecessary changes, though.

...okay, no matter what, I think I'm going to love Ryan as Wade. The ending will stiil piss me off, but until then it'd better be awesome.
