It's not my favorite song off the new album (my favorite songs are the ones that he created, not covers) but he sings it well and the duet is lovely.
Second, Wonderful Neil (that's his actual first name, didn't you know) has mentioned the North American Discworld Convention in his journal. Right after I finished updating the site, so now it is all ready for more visitors. Yay, Neil!
Third, I can't decide what to do for Easter:
- stay here and sleep over at my sister's house and celebrate Easter with them;
- go home to NJ and celebrate with my parents, who will buy my train ticket and promise an Easter basket; or
- go with Dave to visit his parents and his sister and her child, who are not often in town.
Finally, Kelly and I are doing a Writing Workshop wherein we critique each other's work. For the first workshop, we were to pull out 7 poems that we think are pretty good and exchange them. (The next one will be an exchange of poems we wrote that we now think are terrible, heh.) In doing that, I found a few poems I barely remembered writing, but now kind of like. And I wondered if anyone else would like to read one.
Therefore, a poll!
Want to read one of my poems? Which one?
Blossoms Fall - it's a bit romantic
Checkmate - this is an ANGRY POEM
Depression Sits Next to Me - *sigh*
Night Air - a-pondering we will go
Rainy-Day Euphoria - definitely more cheerful than some
Telling it like it is - a poem in four parts
The Cave - rhyme and iambic pentameter, whee!
I'll post the winner here under a friendslock.
